FAQ

How should I prepare for my appointment?

Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, and self-tanners for 1 week before.
Stop using skincare products with strong active ingredients for 1 week before:

Retinoids
Salicylic acid,
Glycolic acid,
Benzoyl peroxide
Hydroquinone

Prior to your appointment, cleanse the treatment area and avoid using any skincare products after you cleanse.

What can I expect afterwards?

You may experience a mild to moderate sunburn sensation following the treatment and a slight to moderate amount of swelling. Peeling and redness are normal and may last 2-7 days.

Aftercare:

Use a gentle cleanser on the treated area
Makeup may be applied 1-2 days following the treatment
Avoid prolonged sun exposure for 7-10 days post treatment and use a high-quality sunscreen of SPF 30 or higher.
Do not use skincare products with strong ingredients like retinoids, salicylic acid, glycolic acid, and benzoyl peroxide one week after your treatment.
Application of skincare products is not recommended in the first 72 hours after treatment, with the exception of the following:
- Gentle cleanser (starting 24 hours after treatment)
- Bacitracin ointment
- Aquaphor
