The chemical peel procedure begins with cleansing the skin. Then, a topical solution is carefully applied to the treatment area. You may experience a mild tingling or burning sensation during the application. The solution is left on for a specific amount of time, depending on the type of peel, and then neutralized or removed. Afterward, your provider will apply soothing products to the treatment area and review your aftercare instructions to support a smooth recovery.

• PCA Acne Peel: Light peeling or flaking in localized areas for 2-3 days post-treatment
• VI Peels: Anything from light redness and flaking to sheet peeling for a few days.

• Try to avoid strenuous activity for 24 hours
• Avoid direct sun exposure and always wear broad-spectrum sunscreen.
• Use a gentle, hydrating face wash and moisturizer for 1 week
• No retinoids, AHA, or BHA products for 2 weeks
• Let any flaking or peeling skin shed naturally; don’t pick or scrub.
• Stay well-hydrated and moisturize regularly to support healing.
